2025年10月13日に大阪・関西万博は半年間の開催期間を経て無事に閉幕しました。
皆さんの中には、酷暑の中で何時間待ってお目当てのパビリオンに入場された方、度々出かけられ万博を満喫された方もいらっしゃるでしょう。また、テレビで万博のイベントをご覧になられた方も大勢いらっしゃると思います。小生、会場には万博関係者として3回会場に行きました。後半は人波で身動きな取れない事もしばしば。1970年の大阪万博を思い出します。
最終日は、ドローンと豪華な花火でフィナーレを飾りましたね。開幕前から色々ありましたが、終わって見れば「結果オーライ」と言う事でしょうか。次は2030年サウジアラビアリヤドでの開催です。

On October 13, 2025, the Osaka and Kansai World Expos 25 were successfully concluded after a six-month period of holding.
Some of you have waited for hours in the extreme heat to enter the pavilion you were looking for, and some of you have often gone out and enjoyed the World Expo. In addition, I think many people have seen the World Expo event on TV. I went to the venue 3 times as a person related to the World Expo. In the second half, there are often people who can't move because of the waves. It reminds me of the 1970 Osaka World Expo.
On the last day, we decorated the finale with drones and gorgeous fireworks. There have been a lot of things since before the opening, but when it's over, does it mean that "the result is okay"? The next one will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2030.
