こんにちは。5月も残すところあとわずかとなりました。新緑が目にまぶしい季節ですね。今回はツバメの巣作りについて書いてみたいと思います。
我が家の周りの田は既に田植えを終えて心地よい風が田園を通り抜けていきます。今の時期になるとツバメがやって来てあちこちで巣作りを始めます。我が家でも例年納屋に巣作りしており今年もツバメが戻ってきてくれました。去年の巣を少し補修して完成です。
巣作りと子育て期間に気をつける事は扉を閉めない事。ツバメが出入り出来るだけのスペースを開けておく事。そして糞対策です。巣の真下に受け皿を用意すれば万全です。今年も無事に雛が巣立つまで見守りたいと思います。

At this time of year, swallows come and start making nests here and there. Even at house stockyard, they make nest every year, and the swallows have returned this year. Last year's nest was slightly repaired and completed.
At this season, I need to pay attention do not close the door, open enough space for the swallows to enter and exit. And it's a measure against faeces. It is perfect to prepare a saucer directly under the nest. I would like to watch over the chicks until they leave the nest safely this year.
